Stage One Part 2: Basic Aerobatic ManeuversThe student should be able to fly the aircraft with minimal assistance from the instructor and maneuver the glider with proper control coordination. Aerobatic concepts should be committed to memory and should be recalled with minimal prompting. Positive control should be maintained at all times and good cockpit resource management should be utilized at all times.Stage Two: Aerobatic ManeuversThe student should be fully competent with the aerodynamic theory involved in aerobatics. He/she should be able to describe in detail the forces acting upon any control surface, wing or fuselage of a glider during high-G maneuvers. The student should be able to compose his/her own routine using IAC standard symbols. Stage Three: Advanced Aerobatic ManeuversIntroduce and fly the following: Split s’s; Reverse Cuban 8’s; Immelmans; Standard Cuban 8’s; Aileron rolls; Inverted flight (sustained); Stall turns; Turns to headings inverted; 4-point rolls; Snap rolls; Vertical rolls, 45º inclined rolls; Humpty bumps; Tail slides; Outside loops; Upright and inverted spins; and other IAC unlimited maneuvers
